BACKGROUND:

The need to introduce a Master course (second cycle Bologna) that, by the training it provides:

- Should draw in the medico-social field first cycle graduates in other fields (sociology and social welfare, economic studies, law studies, etc.).

- Should provide training for the managerial staff responsible for the activity of nursing (care managers, nurses Head of Department)

OBJECTIVES:


    * Acquisition of additional training to enable the care staff to perform at the clinical level of the regulated profession activity, with "cares" specific attributions;
    * Knowledge of the clinical services requirements by the type of specialty (medical, surgical), unit type (acute, chronic, emergency), population served (children, elders, pregnant women), type of disease (infectious, acute, recovery );
    * Knowledge of the Financial management mechanisms in the context of healthy services;
    * Understanding of the community-level intervention in multi-disciplinary dimension, understanding of different ways to address the problems of the community medicine in respect to the individual medicine.

MISSION:

    * To provide Public Health specific training for licensees of the first cycle of higher education from different fields of study (medical, social, economic) to strengthen their role in the health service..

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES


Career prospects offered by this course are supported by the interdisciplinary approach it proposes, offering a complementary educational content with the first cycle of university education training, both for graduates of profiles nurse midwives, laboratory assistants, balneo-physiokinetotherapists, and for graduates of social work, sociology, management services, social theology.

The program content is focused on one hand, on the population approach to the current health problems (domestic violence, drugs, elderly, mental health, infant maternal health), and secondly on providing information on specific medical approach for social economic evaluations, medical and social services management, financing and contracting health services, economic evaluation of interventions, health assessment and risk communication, crisis management or public health disaster. This program provides the necessary training to carry out a task of care management, quality assurance and evaluation of care, staff management at department level, which would allow a better allocation of responsibilities in the clinical ward team / or team level management unit.

COURSE DURATION: 2 years (4 semesters)

ADMISSION CONDITIONS:


Graduates of the first cycle Bologna

May apply for admission to bachelor's degree graduates of the first cycle of undergraduate studies according to Law no. 288/2004 with subsequent amendments..

FEES:

Exam fee: 200 RON, which will be paid at the UMF "Carol Davila" Bucharest’s cash desk, Str. Dionisie Lupu 37

§ type of registration sheet, accompanied by a receipt of payment of registration fee;

§ Diploma of higher education - certified copy (for graduates of 2010 - Certificate)

§ Transcript of records - certified copy;

§ birth certificate – certified copy;

§ marriage certificate (if applicable) – certified copy;

§ 4 photos 3 cm;

§ photocopies of other evidence of knowledge and / or skills (where appropriate, e.g. language proficiency certificate, etc.).

§ Envelope folder
