Postgraduate Education
Definition: It is the specialization form of the profession of pharmacy.
Residency acceptance is done by national competition organized in the order of notes and places. The number of places is fixed annually by the Ministry of Health, according to the need of the country.
Can compete graduates of the pharmacy faculties accredited in Romania.
Certification in the specialty is done by examination, sustained at the faculty of pharmacy in the university center where training was held with a committee appointed by the Ministry of Health and Family. The exam consists of two tests: theory and practice. The minimum average for accreditation is 8 (eight).
Competencies
1. Experimental Pharmacology - 6 months 2. Homeopathy (cycle II for pharmacists) - 1 month
The experimental Pharmacology Competence is performed at the Department of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Pharmacy (Department team, led by the Head of Department Prof. Dr. Aurelia Cristea, compet. in experimental pharmacology)
Competence of Homeopathy (the second cycle for pharmacists is performed in the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Departments of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology (Prof. Aurelia Cristea, compet. in Homeopathy) and Pharmaceutical Technology (Prof. Dr. Dumitru Lupuleasa, compet. in Homeopathy) .
Postgraduate Continuing Education Courses
Postgraduate continuing education courses are held by every department, in the respective area.
